The South Carolina Association of Law Enforcement Explorers was founded in 1979 with the intent of; helping young adults become mature responsible citizens and community leaders, offering the opportunity for young adults to examine the law enforcement profession in order for them to make an informed career choice, offer law enforcement educational opportunities, providing competitive events that will challenge the training experience in law enforcement for these young adults while creating social and professional relationships between law enforcement agencies and young adults and to create a better understanding of available law enforcement programs at the local, state and national levels while encouraging a stable set of moral, ethical and professional values.

We had several entries in our New Logo contest. Jordan Rego (a cadet from Summerville Post 751) designed the winning entry.  The new logo was unveiled at the 2011 competition in Anderson, SC and is pictured above.

In addition to all other activities of the organization a Statewide Competition is held in the summer of each year.
