approved our application for Non-Profit Exempt status
and SCALE is now a 501 (c)(3) approved non-profit
charity. Donations to SCALE are tax deductible. |

SCALE
LOGO CONTEST
SCALE has been around for
over 30 years, but we recently have changed our focus
and vision for the future. We are looking for a fresh
new look for our logo and need your help. Explorers,
Advisors, or Posts who are past present or future
members of SCALE are asked to submit new artwork for a
redesigned SCALE Logo. There is no limit to the number
of entries that you submit. New entries can include
elements of the old logos or not, it is up to you. All
entries should be submitted via e-mail to
eboard@scexplorer.com
by March 31, 2011. The Executive Board and Membership
will vote on the new design at the April SCALE Meeting.
The new design will be revealed at this year's
competition in July and the winner will be presented
with $100 Cash. Please
include your contact information with all submissions to
include Post # and Department as well as a contact phone
number. All entries will become the property of the
South Carolina Association of Law Enforcement Explorers
and cannot be returned. |

Due to extreme
weather conditions in the upstate, the Pickens County
Sheriff's Office reluctantly postponed the 2011 P.C.S.O.
Law Enforcement Explorer Winter Expo. They hope to be
able to re-schedule for President's Day weekend in
February. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Check back
here for updates. |
